AR BAC install, now idle issues....

S4 NA, before I re-installed the BAC and the associated lines it idled at 750-800. It took about 30-45 seconds to "warm-up" and keep idle when starting, it surged a bit at stop signs and lights but never stalled. A/C is being re-installed..... So I installed the BAC and the metal line to include hooking up the vacuum line under the BAC, started her up and the idle jumps to 3000 for about 15-20 seconds, then drops to a surging 1300-1700. I tried to drive it around to warm it up and see if it changed but it didn't. ANGER!!!!!! So I pulled the BAC and checked it out, works great, clean inside, and seals completely. Next I figured I would start from square one and just install the BAC and re-plug the lower vacuum line and it's port on the metal intake line, low and behold she started right up and idled perfectly at 875-900, but will not adjust lower at all even with idle screw all the way out. I drove it around and while stopped I try turning on various electronics, heat, headlights, flashers...., and I get about a 100 rpm surge. It wont go below 750 witch I'm happy with but why the hell can I not hook-up the vacuum line????? I'm fine running with-out it but I would like to idle back around 750-800, I know it's picky. Anyways here is what i'm currently running. Sorry about the rambling i'm just a little confused/angry.

Thanks for the interest guys,
Justin

What are you doing w/the hose, 2nd pic, which connects to the Air Bypass (not the BAC but the Air Bypass Valve)?

Yup, I'm a dumbass.... I just walked inside from installing the ABV and hooking up the lines correctly this time, runs great and idles at 800 rip nice and smooth. I installed everything in a hurry last night and forgot about the ABV, sorry for the wasted post-time. Thank you though Satch.
