BAC from earlier G2 work on a 90GXL?

Well, I do know that they are on different sides of the engine. The Series 4 (86-88) BAC is on the driver's side, and the Series 5 (89-91) is on the passenger's side. I am pretty sure that you have to use a BAC from your series, and an earlier one won't work.
