BAC adjusment Questions
Hello,
I just took out the ACV and AWS(air supply solenoid valve) on my 88 turbo.(I have used all thre necessary plugs and blockoff plates). My idle after that t was just staying at 1500 and not going down, Now I adjusted the idle screw on the BAC and now it's idling at about 1100.
Will this cause any bad ish to happen, Am I supposed to touch that screw?
Should I just do the tps Adjustment in conjuction to getting the normal idling speed?
Whatever that may be?
Please Help,
benny

I'd say one of two things happen. Your blockoff plate for the acv is leaking air and two the air supply solenoid valve that you took off.... did you cap the intercooler where it connected??

Yes I capped it, In the intercooler and air box. I don't think my ACV blockoff plate is leaking. When I turned the BAC valve adjust screw I got it to idle at about 1000 is that not good?, to tighten that screw in or mess with it(the one on the BAC?)Runs good now.

Well I got my license back today...to long...don't ask!!!
But any how I just got back from a drive in my 7, No leaks and runs stronger than ever.
I removed the AWS the ACV and replaced all clamps and hoses. $$$ is the key, not to long before I do some more with it.....
