azenis on my vert

The search feature wasn't working so im sorry if this has been asked before. I have an s5 vert and im wondering if the 205/50 azenis will fit on my vert that is dropped 1.75 inches. Will these be too wide for the front? Ive had these tires on another car and loved them and im in the market for new autoX tires. If the azenis won't work, what will? (they need to be street legal because this is my DD)

How are you lowering your car 1.75 inches. I have not heard of springs that drop that low.

Intrax has springs that lower 1.75" but from what I understand they are more for looks that performance purposes.

Good call! They are intrax springs. They were on the car when I bought it. Its a real pain though because my car got stuck when i drove it onto the lift here on base. Its too low! So the azenis will work? SOunds good to me. Thanks guys.

Yeah, the Azenises will work, just don't expect them to last anything more than 6000 miles. They're basically R-compound tires. But there are other Azenis series tires, just don't know which model you're putting on exactly.

im looking at the V rated ones. I had the H rated ones on my crx because thats all they make for a 14" wheel. A buddy of mine had his azenis on his DD crx for over a year and a half and they held up remarkably well. Im not sure which ones he had though.

If they're Azenis Sports with the funky looking tread design, they're essentially R-compound racing tires with a DOT approval stamped on them. They're rated at 200, but they wear like they're 140.

I had intrax springs on my old vert. I believe 205's are stock on the vert, with a 60 aspect ratio. so 205/50 would be smaller than stock, and a easy fit.

The car being that low was a pain at times. I had to weld my mufflers back together..... I was lucky I didn't lose one on the street at some point.
