ave some quest about doing some mods to my car?

I was just wondering if it would be a good idea to do some mods to my car. The mods that i want to do is take off my exhaust system, smog pump, and ac compressor. I already smogged my car. I am going to buy the fuel cut off from racing beat also. I am planning on running my car with out cat just straight pipe. Incase you guys didnt know i have an 88 Turbo II. If u guys have any comments or suggestions it would be appreciated. Thanks again. I also ran my car the other day and got 16.3 at 86 mph. the car is stock and has everything on it like the smog pump and ac. Thanks again for your time.

since you got it passed emmissions, I assume u will have to again. I would suggest making a exhaust with a cat that you can bolt back on when emmissions come again.

Have the setup made when you go with a DP, make sure they use bolts and design the system so you can remove it and install the emmissions pipe. also I would keep your air pump around, once you have removed it. The car will not pass with out it.

How many miles on the car?

Start changing the oil, do it once every week till it starts to come out a cleaner color, this will help flush out the engine from bad maintenance.

Also start adding premix to the oil and change the fuel filter. These things should get you down to about 15.5

Well i am in arizona for a short time. I will be going back to florida in jan. which where they do not have emissions so that wont be a problem. I also wanted to know if anyone knows what the compression tester should read when done to my car. The car has about 68,000 miles on it. Its leaking a little oil which i am still looking for. Well thanks again.

on the compression it should be somewhere between 80 and 90. it will still run fine if it is lower than that but that is optimum.also on the exhaust, the only thing is it will be really loud. i have mine like that and i love it but i just thought you should know it is crazy loud
