Has anyone ever put in the power antenna from autozone? If so, is it a bolt in or just kind of fit? I was going to replace the mast, but the whole unit from autozone is cheaper.

 

I put one into my car. It actually does bolt in after a 30sec modification. You have to slot the holes on the mounting bracket of the stock antenna to make it fit right.

I have an aftermarket deck and this antenna doesn't require a switched ground, so I just ran the antenna wire from the aftermarket deck to the antenna and it's perfect.

 

thats closer to a bolt in than I thought it would be. Guess I'll try one out
