Bought an 87 Tll late last Fall, and its been sitting in the garage 'till a couple of weeks ago. Knew the car had been modified, but couldn't get too much in the way of details from the previous owner. Thought it might have a Retek, as it seem to transition to secondaries a few 100 rpm sooner than my GX (CDN NA). Pulled up the carpet and found as sticker on the box saying;

Autothority Performance Engineering, and a hand written "Stage lll"

Anyone have experience with this chip, know what perameters it modifies. Not much tech info on their site.

It just removed the overboost fuel-cut and *maybe* has modified ignition maps.

Gotta love the hand writen "stage lll" though. That makes me want to stencil "Type R" on my Geo.

 

Thanks Ted...gotta feel from the general lack of response that this was not the worlds most popular Mod. Car feels extremely strong, but coming from an NA, most ported Turbo's would. Hope to get it dyno's in a couple of weeks.

Oxbrain....thinking about circling "Stage lll" in RED marker...gotta be good for another 10 HP.
