Autometer dual gauge pod ?'s

I purchased a dual gauge pod from the RX7Store and was looking it over and I think I received the wrong gauge pod.

If someone who owns one for the FC would be willing to look at theirs to compare part #'s, that would excellent. Otherwise, I need to have a couple answers.

The gauge pod is made of some pretty stiff plastic, therefore flexing or bending it to fix isn't an option obviously. But, I have like 2" or more room between the gauge pod and my A-pillar. If this is somehow normal, I am contacting Autometer and seeing about quoting the work for my plant to build them. This amount of room is waaaay too much and can be decreased. I am thinking I either got one for the FD or a different vehicle altogether.

My part number is: 82156

The part number is molded into the plastic on the inside near the top of the gauge pod (topside when mounted).

According to this site, the part number is for an FD

Assuming this is the same brand as the RX7Store carries. Gotta get an RMA request.......geesh!
