automatic seat belt cable problem
my car is a 1990 and just recently the cable for my automatic door sill seat belt has been exposed and is now dangling. it still retracts and everything but its not neat since its out of its track. is there a way to fix this? ive tried pushing the cable back into place but its like the length exposed is too much for it to be put back.

My local dealer is an hour away.
My estimate:
One trip & a half day to take it in and have them look at it & approve the work.
Remove the plastic covers myself, so the mechanic dosen't break them.
Another trip to drop it off after the parts come in.
Another trip to pick it up.
I just manually rolled the carrier to the back and disconnected the control box.
I leave the belt connected & just pull it over my head when getting in.
