Question automatic to manual tranny swap

I have a 1989 GXL NA engine car with auto tranny. I want to swap it to a manual tranny. i currently have a turbo s4 tranny and will change the rear to get the limited slip and drive shaft parts as well also will be changing counter weights from a turbo engine and all the turbo clutch and flywheel.
Is there any known problems with the parts not fitting togather by doing the swap with the turbo tranny. most swap with the na 5 speed tranny and rear why?

As for the specific question, the turbo tranny will bolt to the frame the same way, but you will need to have the turbo driveshaft and diff, but it sounds like you are planning on doing that already. As for the counterweights, you don't need to use turbo counterweights, just make sure they are the same series as the rotors.
