Does the automatic transmission ecu have more agressive fuel maps for real?

No. This has been a long standing assumption (don't know how it started) but it has never been proven. There isn't any evidence that the auto tranny ECU results in any performance increases on standard tranny cars.

Not fuel maps - ignition maps.
This WAS proven a while back from an old TeamFC3S.Org lister who did the dyno runs - crap, forgot his name.&nbsp He managed to break two sets of axles with his FC NA.&nbsp He's a Physics major at Georgia Tech, but he doesn't frequent the boards anymore...
