Ok, here is the story (I'll keep it short). I rebuilt my engine a this winter. Lost some fluid out the torque converter when we tilted the tranny back to pull the engine out.

Engine is back in with haltech engine management system. I had the stock gauges out and I broke the end off the speedo cable, so I pulled the cable and was waiting for another to show up. I started my engine to set up the haltech, and I didn't realize that fluid was coming out the speedo cable hole on the tranny.

So, long story short, tranny was low on fluid. The car would vibrate above 3000 RPMs, and now, it won't even start. I vibrates when I crank the key, engine starts, then struggles to idle above 700. I pulled the tranny and the small shaft in the center of the big shaft came out looking like this. You can't see in the pics, but there are very fine lines worn into the discolored part of the shaft.
