how do u think it would cost to replace a new auto seat belt for my s5

well if its broken then you can just take it to the mazda dealer with the recall paper you can find somwhere on here and they should fix it for free.

they replace tehm with a new part... i had issues going into the dealer the 1st time and they had to lookup the the part and check the warranty on the part and not the recall list to approve it as a lifetime warranty repair item

The rails and motors are warrantied for life. Have had 4 replaced on two 7's over the past 14 years. Look for PDF Update in the post below.

Im doing it right now. My drivers side froze at mid rail. The dealer took a look at it and said "yuppers, well need to order da part"...I said: him I could have told him that over the phone...but nooooo, they need to look at the damn thing to make sure.

What a waste of time that was. So now I will need to go back again after the part comes in so that they can actually do the fix.

I hate the dealer, but at least the fix is free.
