hey guys i need help with wiring up my manual trans plz... i already was able to get the rear loghts to work.. but then i can't get the wiring to make the car start... i am yet to test the starter... but i'm thinking it's still good.. and then since it was an automatic the clutch switch was already bypassed... so that's done... all i need to to wire up the tranny... it's either those wires for the tranny or it's the wires for the engine... i connected everything i can think of in the car and everything works... lights and horn and everything.. but it just doesn't crank.. even the fuel pump works.. so i dunno i've been trying to figure it out but i haven't gotten any luck... if you guys know how to wire up the s4 N/A tranny plz tell me specifics... liek wire colors and how wut connectors look like... thank you.. suggestions are more than welcomed..

 

Try this:starting the car in Neutral.
It may be that your Safety Neutral switch is stil operational and is giving the signal that the car is In gear.
you wired up the Reverse switch,But there is one more switch to wire up.
There is a sort of Official Auto To Manual Swap thread(search) that was created by a Member.Take a look at that and read it.See if there is anything you may have overlooked.

run a wire from your ing switch down to your starter, black with red tracer i think? i had that problem a long *** time ago and that what i did, u dont need those other wires on the tranny, just reverse lights. the wire u add will go to the "male" slit type prong on your starter
