ok to swap auto manual is it better to just get a manul donor and swap eveything out? cause i read a article on one and it says you need to make custom plate for some reason . is there anohter way of doing it off a manual car? thanks

 

The transmission mount is farther back on the auto. If you replace the auto with a manual, you'll need to fabricate a new trans mount, or weld ears in the correct position on the frame for the manual trans. Mosy just construct a makeship mount.

It's really not that much work.

 

yea seriously its not much work at all fabricating the mount that was the least of my worries during the swap.... so that said if your scared of putting together a mount than i wouldnt even try to tackle the job of switching to a manual tranny

 

The wiring is more complicated than the actual mount.
