ok so here is the situation. im using the mount on the Rotary Resurection web site. and ever seince i did the swap my shifter has set inbetween 1st and 2nd insted of 3rd and 4th. does any one else have this problem? also i have broken 2 driveshaft's front u joints int the past few months. probably because of the mount. again 2 driveshafts down i am looking to see what you all are using for a mount because the one im using odviously isnt working properly.

 

I used the mounts from a manual car and welded them into the hulk. Then I was able to use the manual bracket that was intended for the tranny.

Caution: If you do weld in the manual mounts, remove your carpet first. Ask me how I know.

haha ok im gessing you had a bit of a fire then? that sucks. was it hard to cut the mounts out and weld them in?

any one elso hav any other mounting methods?

 

took around 10 mins to cut both mounts out but i had to change disks a few times.

that link just goes to the search. i know what mounts there are but i want to see what ppl use. so just took a bit to cut them out hu? any one used the mounts in the wright up in the archives?

 

i just used a peice of c-channal iron and used my Auto crossmember. i havnt had a single problem with it.
