Looks great, now if I could get one across the border into Canada, hmmmm
We can probley can work something out for you. The top manifold for the S\C is on the web site.

j200pruf:
Yes that was the atkins 1rotor lawmower that you saw.

looks like the answer to more hp for my 88 vert. Is the manifold designed to clear a strut brace? (dont need more power in an unstable platform!)

Sorry I'm not trying to be a dick but is that 260hp number an estimate or was the car dyno'd ever with larger injectors? I will be using larger injectors soon, but i'm just a little skeptical about spending 3800 bucks for 176 rwhp, Any estimates on 1/4 mile times?

yes, i would like some numbers (or at least some basic data), not a movie of a d00d in a parking lot having fun (not that it's not fun to watch).

Did I miss something, I thought that he answered the HP number in his 5th post... "dyno'd with a street port"

I can understand the skeptacism, 260RWHP would be a sneaky fast car!

My engine is a MNAO rebuild with only 2000kms, with cleaned and balanced stock injectors, I wouldn't pull it apart to do a port job, but I do have a full Mindtrain exhaust system.

I would be interested to know what kind of HP I could expect for my configuration?

But he didn't say about injectors. Did the car dyno'd make 176 or 260? and I understand 260 with a street port and injectors, and i'm not skeptice i believe the numbers i just want to know if i can make those numbers without a street port but with injectors and if so what size. And wondered if ignition timing needed to be adjusted and what octane gas was needed, I'm serious about doing it but its a good amount of money for me to spend as a college student and i just wanna do it right so i only have to do it once

In one of the posts, he said that it was using stock injectors. I assume it also has an SAFC or something similar to bump up the flow.
Could you post some pics of what the engine bay looks like? I'd like to see how it looks in the car. Also, how much boost does it make? And I would like to know what octane gas the car will need. I really like being able to put regular in my car, but I'm guessing it would need premium with the s/c.

Me wants!!! Uh...but I don't think i'm going to spend $3800....I'll think i'll try my hand at some fabrication first More then likely I'll still end up buy your setup or spending a lot more on my own.

You'd pick a carb'd supercharger over an intercooled turbo and EFI?

Hmm...NZ is right the engine on the block is carbed, but Atkins is working on an EFI setup, and we all know of zbrown's SC setup. I'm planning on going that route and an SC can be intercooled.

The picture on the Camden site shows a TB connected to a aluminum manifold that bolts to the top of the SC (replaces the dynamic chamber and the UIM)

Dan - video looks great. I bought it last week (new 13B rebuild tape)

Very high quality video - the build-up was very clear and the tips are helpful.

Thanks

What all states require the use of CARB approved items?

If I was worried about emissions I wouldn't be driving an RX-7. I run 11.5/1 A/F ratio, I smoke like a train.
