Will too much ATF ruin the spark plugs causing them not to fire? I read an article saying thatyou have to replace the plugs after you do the ATF trick.

 

i never ran into that situation but have reawd a lot into that. i think its only replace the plugs if they're messed up from the flooding. other than that, just clean the plugs and dry them out nicely and then put 1 TSP of ATF in both leading or trailing. also, best thing to do too is push start. works all the time.

 

It won't ruin them like that. Just blast the ends with brake cleaner to rinse them, then briefly hit them with an open flame (pocket torch or a lighter) to burn the cleaner off and you're back in business.
