ASV valve removal

Been reading about the TB mod and BAC removal. Can the ASV valve be removed also?

Supposedly, if you remove the BAC, you bump up the idle to 1000 RPM. When you turn on the AC idles drops to about 750 RPM, but car doesn't die. Would this hold true with the power steering if you removed the ASV?

Is there a thread you can lead me to that talks about this, or should I just unplug it and see what the effects are and go from there.

I say pull the plug and look at the results. I think your on track with the comparison with the bac. If you already have a 1000rpm idle(on purpose) Then again I have never had power steering, so why do I answer this post. If the results are detrimental, then just plug the sucker back up.
