you can't get the perfect size tire in 245's, 225/50 in identical to the stock size at 25" tall, the 245/45 is 24.6" tall. so your speedo will be about 5% off. maybe 255/45 would be good. i'd have to look and see. i have 245's on my stock 7" rims. so you shouldn't have a problem fitting 255's on the 7.5's.

EDIT: just checked tirerack, you can't get 255/45 so 245's would be your best bet. with 225/50's in front, don't be surprised to see that it looks funny. i don't like taller tires in front. but then again, you might not even notice it, i have 24.6" tall tires in rear (245/45) and 24" tall in the front (225/45) and i can't really tell. and that's brand new rears and almost bald fronts which makes the difference even worse.

TireRack sucks and swallows. simultaneously. Although that would be a good attribute for a girlfriend, it is not desirable for a tire website. Discount Tire Direct owns you!!
225/50 is huge. You dont drive a friggin Camaro, do you?
Oh and why would you put bigger tires out back if the wheels are the same size all around??????????????????\
rule of thumb: if the total section width is more than 1in wider than your rim (some prefer less), your handling will suffer.
225/25.4=8.85 almost 9inches wide on a 7.5 inch rim.
215 is the widest i would go on a 7.5 inch rim, AND i would run the same size tires all around (unless i had wider wheels in back, duh) But I like balanced handling and good looks, and I dont care to much about drag racing. Its really up to you, just wanted to share a little bit of my experience.
