Just wondering what I'd look to spend if I were to get an NA withouth the LSD, and then find one to swap in later. How about a T2 tranny/rear? I guess it would pretty much **** me as far as SCCA classing, but what are the going prices these days?

Junkyard.

I got mine out of a junkyard, but it was auto. Swapped the ring gear from my 5-spd rear end into the auto case (auto GXL's rear end) and now I have LSD.

A buddy of mine has a brother that works at the junkyard.

With that in mind, it cost me around $50 total... gas, and food/payment for my buddy. I bought him dinner.

Removal/reinstallation of the rear end can be kind of a pain in the ***, but if you follow the FSM it's not too bad. Just have short wrenches, and you do not have to lower the subframe.
