Question ArEx CUSTOM STEREO HELP!!

Ok i dont know if you all have a custom stereo but if you do please help me, how the #**% do you hook up the power wires off the old stereo i mean which is which, i have an 86' Rx-7 GXL please help and if you know where to get a body kit lets hear it...thx for the help!?

I don't have the color scheme, BUT if you have a tester light (or a multimeter) I can help you.

get universal adapters, they plug into your current harness and give you the universal color schemes with all the descriptions....

Permanent 12V (battery): blue with a red stripe
Switched 12V (Acc): blue with a white stripe
Antenna: blue with a yellow stripe (switched earth)
Illumination: red with a blue stripe

Don’t bother paying for wiring kits. Just crimp male spade terminals onto the stereo’s harness and plug them straight into the factory plugs.

ground is to the body. not in the harness. the atena won't work without some type of relay.
