well i am paranoid for my turbo fc, i always wait about 2-3 mins every morning before i even drive the car around, and don't rev pass 3k until another 2-3 mins, and i wait about 1-2 mins for the car to shut down everytime, i mean everytime, is this nessacary, also later if i drive the car 2nd time during the day do i still have to wait a couple mins before driving it or i can just go right away, and this whole shutting down flooding thing, how long of a wait is it? I mean gas cost alot these days, letting it idle for 2-3 mins really kills my gas, any help?

 

Unless you've just been driving hard, no idle time is necessary with water-cooled turbos. Just don't drive hard right before you stop and turn the engine off.
