Apexi El2 EGT sensor?
My EGT sensor died (Apexi EL2 system with controll unit) and i am looking for replacement part number. Anyone is able to say for sure if sensor from EL (older system without controll unit) works or is same or will have exact part number for me?
Thanks!

info i got today
"The 403-A031 is the old Apexi part number. They have since superceded to the 49B-A003. Same sensor, different part #"
"The package comes with sensor, harness and extension harness, however no compression fitting/hardware."
Anyone have idea where to get compression fitting/hardware?? I broke mine when removing old sensor.
Thanks!

Are you talking about the compression ring or the compression nut or the threaded part you install in the exhaust?
Try looking in the toilet / bathroom section in the hardware store?
Hornbach?
We use the brass stuff in emergencies.

yeah, talking about stuff which holds probe in exhaust (compression bolt/nut/ring)
btw..any suggestions for different than Apexi EGT probe which will be 'better/faster' and still work with gauge?

The Griffin is right.
They are all K-type thermocouples.
You can try and find generic ones locally to see if they make a difference, since they are usually cheaper that way.
I cannot guarantee you if it'll react faster, but it might.
In the U.S., I've seen them as cheap as US$30, but most are like US$60 to US$70.
That should be cheaper than the A'PEXi replacement...
Just be careful with the polarity...
They are only two wires, but it is possible to wire them backwards.
If the needle goes the wrong way or doesn't respond, reverse the wires.
