Is anything Wrong with my FC?

I have a question, I just want to make sure nothing is wrong with my FC, when I rev my engine it shoots fire from the exhsaust.

Is there anything wrong, or is it normal?

Normal. What kind of exhaust setup do you have?

When the RX-7 is ready for a V8 swap it usually with communicate that to the owner by throwing flames out the exhaust!

You may want to replace the anti after burn valve with a junkyard unit. It's located just above the exhaust manifold.

Back firing will eventually damage your exhaust system.

No, it happens. The car runs rich from the factory, sometimes when you are revving high some fuel isnt burned up and when it hits the oxygen at the end of the exhaust BOOM.

If the car is completely factory, then your car shouldn't be backfiring or shooting flames. If it is, then your cat is probably toast. All that unburnt fuel probably burned the honeycomb in the cats.

Is your car a TII or NA?

i'm gonna guess one of the following...toasted catalytic converter, bad o2 sensor, bad thermosensor, or bad variable resistor...provided that it's an S4...

or it could be a combination of a few things...

your car is blown and you should sell it! Just palyin' its not a big deal you probably have a bad exhaust leak somewhere. Or a bad cat.

The only REAL reason I posted in this thread is because of stupid posts and information like ^^^^. People just don't know **** these days, so they spread they're stupidity to others.

FCs do run slightly RICH from the factory. But no where near to blow flames thru the exhaust.

Check all your exhaust equipment and components.
