Well I've got my OEM clutch, cover, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, and pilot bearing seal. Would there be anything else that could cause a headache down the line if I don't take care of it now?

Alright, I added that to my cart. I can't seem to find the rear engine seal on Mazdatrix. Would anybody have a part number by any chance? I have plenty of Redline tranny fluid laying around so if I can get the seal I think I'll be taken care of.

Honestly, I have never had problems with the tranny seals, but replacing them might save you problems, but I have never replaced mine.

Also, inspect the clutch fork, clutch fork pivot ball, and the front cover for wear.

make sure you get all gaskets! Though high-temp RTV will work in a pinch.

What gaskets? The one that you need to get access to the front tranny seal? Exhaust? Please clarify.

It was kind of alluded to, but since you'll have the flywheel out for machining, change engine rear seal, along with tranny front seal and rear seal.

Well I have. It's not fun to have to top it up every few months and to have it constantly dripping on the ground, burning on the hot exhaust and (one time when I overfilled it a little) smoking as you drive down the highway. It makes the car smell of gear oil (it smells nasty) every time you drive. That was the front seal leaking, luckily it was staying off the clutch.

Nono, I meant the gasket for the front tranny seal.
