How many coils did you cut off, and did you cut from top or bottom? I'm talking about the front. I looked at it today and it looks like whichever way you cut them, it will disturb the way the spring seats on it's perch.
I was planning on cutting ~1.5 coils from top, that seems to me like the safest way to go.

I have access to a spring compressor. I'm doing it because I dont have the money for a real kit right now and the front end looks jacked up b/c of all the stuff I've removed from under hood.

I really dont care to hear anything from you if you think cutting springs is dumb, for whatever reason.

thanks
Mike

Thumbs down

Don't do that to the car. Please don't ruin a 7. It will run the ride and possibly **** some things up. Intrax makes a lowering kit thats really cheap and I mean cheap, in more ways that one.
