Title says it...

Does anyone actually still have the stock, from the factory, battery that came on their car? I don't know if it's different over the years, but my car is an 88 GXL. I'm trying to find out what the stock battery weighed, because I'm going to be going to a lightweight battery eventually (hopefully) and want to know how much it is actually saving over stock. I no longer have the stock one because the last owner replaced it, that's why I'm asking all of you

If anyone actually has the stock one still and is nice enough to weigh it for me I'd appreciate it

I don't have a scale, but i just replaced mine 2 days ago, I would say no more than 35lbs and no less than 27. I work in communications and my tool bag weights about 25lbs, i know this thing is a good 5 -10 lbs heavier. Sorry i couldn't give precision

 

Alright cool. An estimate is good since I'm trying to figure out how much weight savings this will be.

If anyone has a scale and the stock battery, though, and is willing to weigh it I wouldn't mind
