Anyone self install the Rtek 1.5....
this is kinda for the gurus, but has anyone else that has done the self install of the Rtek 1.5 had the trails crack on the top side of the board when removing the old eprom chips? i was installing mine last night, and after spending quite some time removing the old solder and such as i edged the old chips out, a few of my trails on the board stayed stuck to the eprom. I am thinking that i will attempt to add some small insulated wired to replace the trails. any comments/ideas? otherwise if it doesnt work i am going to just purchase a new ecm and send it in the pocketdata and let them worry about it.

Nurse I need 1300cc's NOW
for the price you pay to have them install it and the amount you save by doing it yourself i think its better to let them do it. I had them put in my r-tek1.7 and they test it and what not. not to mention they do it all the time and have the equipment to do it right. thats why i elected to pay a little extra just to insure that i dont mess it up
