I'll take some pics....my computer is down. I'm at internet cafe, but I can post them later.
they look bright much much brighter than regular ones, and they last longer than regular ones.
My voltage is not moving when I turn my lights on.
west LA, La Brea-Melrose
I have some extra if you are interested.

I have yet to see any LEDs replacement bulbs come even halfway close to the bightness of conventional incandecesents for the tail or running lights.
Even from the site you posted it says:

LED bulbs are generally not as bright as standard incandescent bulbs, they have many advantages over filament bulbs (longer life, faster on/off times, lower power consumption, more vivid colors) but brightness is not one of them

I'm running.. Interior door hatch and dome light... Sidemarkers... front markers... and currently working on tail lights... They give a much crisper look if you match the color of LED to the color of the lense they are behind IMO they are 1000000x brighter in most cases than incandescent bulbs BUT only in one direction... although there are ways to change that...

Yeah, the car I just bought recently has them, and I don't like them too much. I really don't like the look of them in a car that wasn't designed for them...you just have pinpricks of light in the lens. Also, the resistance is wrong...every time I hit the brakes, the "Stop" warning light comes on. They'll be coming out before I actually start driving the car.

I agree. A buddy of mine got the 1157 (I think) bulbs off of ebay for the brake lights. They had some 15? LED's in a little housing and the lighting intensity and pattern was utter crap. A single bright spot surrounded by a dull glow. During the daylight hours the glow was not really visable and it looked more like a single spot the size of maybe a Silver Dollar that was lit up.

They aren't designed to project, they aren't meant to provide light for you to see by. They are meant to make a big red spot on the back of your car to keep people from hitting you. You could stick a laser pointer in there and it would project hundreds of feet but wouldn't be worth a damn. That was another thing I noticed about the LED's. From an angle that was not straight on, they were much much more difficult to see.

Are you going to physically pull the tail lights apart to do this? If so, good luck with that...hopefully you don't crack them to pieces and end up with no tail lights at all.

With the fill from an incandescent you get a 2" square light that you can see from 500ft.
What about in poor weather conditions... can you see a 1/2" circle of light at 100 yards?
I hope that someone can see you at night before they hit you.

i'm talking about side markers... not brake lights... and when you look at the side markers from an angle you see the opposite side light up from the reflectors even brighter than the incandescents

I have some laying on my desk at home if you want to buy some more "super bright" 194 bulb leds.
I even tried them with some 3M DBEF (Dual brightness Enhancing Film) film to see if they would defuse and look as half as bright as real lights. This is the same stuff they use in Laptops and Handhelds to make them use fewer bulbs to make the same light.
Still sucked. LEDs just have not grown far enough to use except in custom multi LED applications like 3rd brake lights.

what is with your LED boner anyway? the only pictures on your site were of your LED "mods." not only are you at a greater risk of getting hit at night, but your slower than you might be if you spent the money elsewhere. constructive criticism.

I agree with 86GXL they look brighter, and they take less power than regular ones.
Nighttime people are still able to see you.
Now if you guys are talking about heavy weather conditions, like heavy rain, snow or fog, in that case OEM light don't help either.
