anyone replaced this before?

the tie rod boot? it kinda looks like a pain to replace but mine is cracked and making some nasty noises when i turn the wheel

Just replace the tie rod. I think they should only be around $50 or so, maybe less I forgot. Pop them both out for peace of mind and then get it aligned.
