Anyone really good at electronics?

I'll post my problem anyways and hope that someone can answer. I am relocating my power window switch into my centre console armrest (don't ask!) with an aftermarket switch. I did this in my last car, and I accually used the same switch, however, I can't remember for the life of me how I had it hooked up!!! It is absolutely frustrating cause I spent all afternoon trying to wire this damn thing, and I couldn't get it to work!
Anyways, on the window motor there is a green and red wire, and when you use positive and negative you can move the window up and down by simply reversing the polarities. In reference to my Hayne's manual, it says that both of these wires are grounded. Here is the set up of the switch;

The only thing I could figure out was that the bottom middle pin is the positive terminal, and I THINK that the upper middle terminal is the Negative terminal. Now when I hook up the red, and green wire to the outer terminals nothing happens the switch isn't working. I believe that the outer terminals are the rocker contacts for the switch. I've tried just about every configuration, and can't seem to get it! Any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! Thanks.
I should add that this is a dual switch so that it can control both windows seperately.

Sorry I was out of town and down in San Diego since last thursday...Back now...
anyway, Using a 6 pin switch, (and I am assuming a momentary one at that), the center two pins would be to the motor, Let say your top center to the red and your bottom center to green.
Then (moving left to right) on the top row pin one, you would put 12Volts ignition/switched, pin two would again be the red wire, and pin 3 would be ground.
On the second row (again moving left to right), pin one would be ground, pin two again would be green) and pin three would be 12 volts.
But I am not sure what your little square is... is that an additional pin for the switch???

Thanks for the respsonses guys, but it all came down to a faulty connection on the switch. I re-soldered it and it works beautiful. I had the connections all perfect I just wasn't getting any power to it.
Just for future reference if you guys care to know...... The lower centre pin is the 12volt main, the upper middle is the main ground. The outer pins are for each motor. Red and green wires would attach from one motor to one side of the switch, and the other motor to the other side of the switch. (hopefully that makes sence).
Oh and as for that little sqaure, it is the extra tab for the positive terminal.

Most 6 pin switchs are two rows of NO/Com/NO. You did say you are using an aftermarket switch right?

Yes I'm using an aftermarket switch. I'm using a dual switch though. One Switch controls the driver window, and the other controls the passenger one. So there is two motors in total. Nowhere in my description was I reffering to two motors for one window. I do have a problem explaining what I mean though. I wish I could just photograph my visions, cause that would make life a whole lot easier!
Even in my origional post I said it was a dual switch that controls each window seperatly. Thus I eliminate both OEM switches from the doors, and just use the new switch in place of them.
