i recently went to a few u pull it type junkyards in s fla and was amazed to find so many rx-7s in there. i picked up quite a bit of stuff i need for 10 bucks...woohoo, im not trying to sell anything or ship anything just stumbled across some good stuff and wanted to share the wealth. 1 place had just got an 88 vert that i got a bunch of stuff off of. i think i was the first to get to it for once!! no rxs over 88 but like 5 different coupes in one yard alone all with the engines (probly shot but none dissassembled) most with trannies both auto and manual. a few good interior parts some almost full interiors. nothing in extraordinary condition but good to refurbish, i did. like i said no t2s or any s 5s. i went to find taillights and had no round lights but all had s4 tails cheap. no glass sunroofs t2 hoods or any of the cherrished items (radio surrounds etc) except the vert had a rubber radio surround with a small crack on it. some of the coupes had no body damge at all and looked to me to be restorable (with new paint and stuff, or maybe a miracle wax) i think there was a gtu it had a momo steering wheel on it (gtu?) nice black leather seats, coverd with some tears but structurally sound. no cargo covers either. the vert i looked in still had the maintenace info, the grey owners manual leather book thing and even the original dealers cassette tape they came with. pretty cool. and, probly why it was wrecked it had a flask in it 1/4 way full of brandy, too funny. the glove box even had the title in it still. and for the first time in my life i saw a riced out 7 with a bunch of neuspeed stickers on it. rotory carma got that owner and thats why its in the yard i think. if anyones here in sfla and interested i can tell you the yards i went to.

amazing the things you can find in these yards i guess one mans junk really is anothers treasure!!

 

where at in sfla and what yards......r u referin to broward or dade?

ok u r talkin about M&L and upull it....yeah ive been in those.....they get T2s but very rare....and if u don't get there the day they get it then obviously u missed out.....a buddy of mine got a engine with turbo for $175 and it runs....(junkyard guy thought it was no good) so he really lucked out with that.
