Anyone need CarFAX service? I got my until mid January and can do it for free
I just got my car not long ago (as some of you already know). Before I buy the car, i purchase the auto history record service from CarFAX.com. Well, lucky (or unlucky) enough, i brought the very first car i run the report on CarFax. So basicly my 19.95 dollars of service is wasted.
However, since there are a lot of people who are still looking for used FC, I think it would be great that i can use this service for everyone's benefit. Since I got so many help from many ace here in this forum, i think it's time for me to do something to this community too.
So please tell me if anyone interest in this service.
I will need.
1. VIN #
2. Your email address so i can email the result to you.

That is pretty cool. I will give you the VIN number of my RX7 when I get home, along with my email of corse. I know my car was in a wreck but it will be interesting to see if it was ever stolen.

I just email out all your results. I tried my best not to get confused. If for some reason you don't get my email, please pm me again. Or if you receive two of your result, that's normal :p
anyways, hope the info helps. I find it somehow not detail enough, but at least you can get some idea about the car you are about to buy.

well, it's either 19.95 for 2 month unlimited report (limited one purchase per year) or 14.95 for a single report. I didn't know how many cars i will be checking, so i went with the unlimited one. You guys are helping me to get my money worth
anyhow, regarding how to use it, just go to www.carfax.com and enter my email address when asked to log in. Then just enter the VIN #, all the history of the car will show. Like i said, i think the report is somewhat not detailed enough to my like, but is a good reference, especially for those who are serious on buying a used car.
