anyone modified an n/a AFM to work on a T2?

i have a junk T2 AFM and a spare n/a AFM, i need to get a good working T2 AFM for my car so i was contemplating placing the spring from the T2 AFM into the n/a AFM but not sure if there is other calibration side affects to doing this, obviously the screw is set for the different engines but i'm wondering if it is close enough that there will be no ill side affects.... the n/a AFM works fine in the car but it runs a bit rich with it in there and i need a correct AFM for smog purposes.

any info if this is feasable?
