R Magic makes them. Only available in Japan, which means expensive. One of my friends has one for sale, as well as his R-Magic vented hood.

You may be able to find a knockoff, but i would be wary of the construction and how thick the fibreglass is-- cheaper knockoffs use lower grade fibreglass in thin thin layers that will warp very easily in a short amount of time/heat.

Well. I'd say that the whale tale style looks much better than 99% of the aluminum wings out there.

Icemark, do you know of a better styled wing for the FC?

You know I like the look of all three stock wings... I just have never seen anything aftermarket that even comes to look half way as nice.

More or less what I was kinda thinking. I don't like the whale tale on the porsche at all either... As far as the spoiler for the FC, I agree with you on that as well. The stock on is the best looking IMO

I'm 99% sure those are Work wheels. Expect to pay around $3000 a set I believe.

Honestly... in person the "trunkback" hatch replacements and whale tales aren't that bad. I'd never do one, but they're different and unique looking. Available for all 3 generations rx-7s.

None of those are really what I had in mind...

I'm gonna take this on as a project...sometime...

What I want is a wing that follows along the bottom edge of the hatch. At it's highest it's only going to be maybe 2 or 2.5 inches above the deck, and maybe travel 4 inches over past the rear deck and meet flush with the glass. I'm thinking the leading edge shoulg kind of curl up so that the transition between the glass and the wing is smooth, and the trailing edge would be curled down (like on a real whale-tail style spoiler).

I'll find a pen and draw up what I'm talking about right quick...

yup...that's a dent...

...and no...what I want to make will be more of an acent to the hard lines of the car. Most of these tails shoot up at abrupt angles and scuh...

The R magic wing actually looks quite good in person...THAT car looks bad for 2 reasons:

-The color
-The AWFUL R Magic rear valance.

Does R-Magic have a US distributor? Some of their front bumpers are kinda nice.
