haha i know this might sound bad... but i think i know wat offset is when refferring to rims... but i could be wrong. Could someone just breifly explain what it is ... im thinkin something to do with the amount the rim curves in? Also when talking about rim size for example: 17x7.0j wat does that second number mean? its on that japanese rim site by the way.

2nd number is rim width. really basic, offset is how far the wheels stick in or out. Ted's got some info on his site, you might go check it out.

supposedly, 18-20" and chrome are what's "in" in japan right now - from what i'm told.

I'll do that. In the meantime, how about you actually put in some effort into finding them yourself. There's about 20 threads on, "what's on this car" with the same picture you have up. Get a name for it, go on google, and search you lazy bitch.

The angle of the wheel curving in is the Camber angle, I would explain the whole offset thing but ive tried and failed in the past. the offset is how for in or out the hub is in relation to the center of the wheel

Look, I don't want any bad blood here. It's early and I get annoyed with people who seem to not put in the effort to find stuff on their own. Personally when I try to find something I search for at least 30 minutes before starting a new thread.

I'll assume you searched and just go ahead and say sorry, I'm just going to let it go.

Bigtymer, Just get a set of these, you won't have to worry about offset, or all those other confusing numbers, plus they save you a lot of weight. These wil make your whip look mad tyte, and you'll have so many bishes following you around you'll have to tell them to step off.

I doubt you can afford them.
Last time we checked, it was at least $4,000 for a setof 4.

If you're looking at the 17" stuff, here's what I recommend...
The charts are confusing, and SSR mixed up some of the terminology.
Their "offset" numbers look like dish depth.
You want big dish, get the "SL" or "super low disk".

17 x 8.0, +24, 77 dish = ~3" dish
17 x 9.0, +11, 102mm dish ~4" dish (requires flared fenders up front)

i really like these rims. I havent found any I've liked this much but if anyone knows of any other good looking ones feel free to post some suggestions. I could possibly buy these ones but I'd feel so guilty for waisting 4 grand on the beasts...
