yeah im going to look into a flex hose running to a spot where air can be rammed through it and into the box... would it be better to make the cone filter totally inclosed in a box and then the hose feedin cold air into it... its and idea

But you have to make sure to make one for a series 4 and series 5 rx7's cuz they are diffrent.

yeah dude you would want to have a cone filter inside the box, and then "ram" the air into that

Well i did some planning and the first one will be a box sealed on top when the hood is closed the side of the box will have a 3 inch opening and flex hose or whatever I think I might leave that to whoever would want to buy one so they can route the flex hose or whatever to where ever they want... sounds confusing... the buyer will have to route and supply there own flex hose from home depot or whatever.....how does it sound

It will have to be cheap. I can make that one out of sheet metal ro something for close to nothing. I made something similar out of Fiberglass.

$40 sounds awesome, although you might give the buyer the option of having the 3inch hole on the side or on the bottom.

ok well I guess a hole in the bottom I will do but as for the hose and routing thats up to you guys.. and im thinkin about using a certain area to mount the box so it dosent vibrate against anything...
