Question Anyone have aftermarket coils?

Just wondering if anyone is running aftermarket ignition coils in addition to a CDI box? I'm considering getting two Crane coils and paralleling them to replace the stock leading, but I just want to hear about other's experiences...

Thanks!

Hey, I haven't got it in, but I'm getting there! The setup I am installing is as follows: 2 Crane Hi-6 CDI units driving 2 Crane PS-92 CDI only coils. I considered using a single Hi-6, but this would have reduced the available energy/spark by 1/2 on each coil, and in addition would have shortened spark duration. Do not consider paralleling PS-92 coils, they have too low an impedance and will blow out a single Hi-6. However, a single Hi-6 can drive 2 PS-91 universal coils with no problem. The above mentioned limitations still apply, of course. I will post results when the installation is completed.
