Anyone had problems with electrical...

Today my car just would not start. Battery would be completely dead. Got a new optima batt and oem alternator replaced. It dies/looses lots of votts when i press on the brakes or in natural. I have to keep it at 2 rpm to keep 13 volts. When I switch on my lights. It drops under 12 volts and back to 13 volts. When i turn the car off its does not start again. Just tring to get some suggestions and trobleshoots.

Did you check the wiring (The olg power, Alt, starter wires may be bad.)? Also did you plug in the little plug that goes into the ALT?

By "When i turn the car off its does not start again". Do you mean that you turn the key and nothing happens? or does it try to crank? If nothing happens its a starter issue, get out a maglight and hit the starter a few good times and it should work fine fore few more starts, until it needs beaten again

I changed the alt and batt about a month about and ran fine. Yes, i have the little plug that goes to the alt. How would i check the olg and starter wires and were they located?
