I was looking at the "Best Looking 2nd Gen" thread ...and I swear 75% of the FC's had that style bodykit, and therefore could hardly be considered into the category because not one of them didnt stands out among the rest. Doesn't it bother people that the kit isnt unique anymore?

keep hoping.... it's only getting started... count again the number of gp sports kitted cars... hmmm, really not that many... just a lot of my pictures, maybe you counted twice.. of course the KIT isn't unique, it's available to everyone... uniqueness comes with how the rest of the car is put together, color choice, other small differences, any custom work etc, how each person makes their car their own... but some might not see those differences.. or may just not like them... bah.. it's so funny that there's a poll for if people are tired of seeing a certain type of kit... **** next people are gonna start picketing the factory where the kits are made..hahahaha VIVA LA REVOLUTION!!! :smiley_12 :smiley_12

I personally favor the final konnexion kit over the GP. They look really similar though...

The GP kit is bad *** but as Ilike2eatricers said, too many people are buying it....

Chances are, if I can't get the Finak Konnexion kit, then i'm going for GP...but only GP front and sides...something else on the rear...

originally i wanted wide fenders, mazdaspeed lip under the S5 bumper ofcourse, RE-sideskirts stock rearbumper with RE-rear diffuser(carbon)....along with the RE-GT wing...OR the mazdaspeed stock T2 wing risers(anyone where to find it?)

i used to LOVE THE GP then everyone hit it up...i wanna be different and unusualy i belive my setup abouve^^^ is unique....and i belive sleepy lights on an FC look odd..but on the one-via and 240hatch i have they look good....hmmm wonder why they look different?

Urethane costs a lot more to make, injection molding or whatever they do to that requires some seriously expensive molds...

I think that kit is sexy. Most of us in here agree thats its THE half way decent body kit for our cars. And now that ebay is selling them for like 500 bucks its really not a bad deal.
And as far as being sick of seeing them, first of all how many 2nd gens are seen on the road today? And now just think how many have the GP sports kit?

Thats a pretty stupid thing to say if you think about it. The stock look isnt unique either. Neither is any body kit if it was ever mass produced.

Being massed produced isnt the issue. It's that knockoffs are readily available ( for very cheap) making it easy for people who would otherwise never have bought the authentic(normally because of high price).

Knockoff or original it still looks the same. Its kinda like Louis Vitton bags with women. They arent selling that many becuz too many people have the look...real or not.

So until someone makes their own kit...................

so you're telling me that alot of people would still have paid for the genuine GP sports kit? I doubt that. I'm sure there's more knockoffs than the authentic, no doubt due to price. My point is that not as many people would have them if there was no source for a cheap replica. either way it doesnt matter to me. let's just leave it at that.

nobody questions if things are real or not...they just assume it is so that they dont insult you if they're wrong or because they dont know the difference.......

So it has to be unique? If it has to be unique, we'd be making our own damn kits.

I plan on getting one for my car.
