anyone do a holley carb on a 2nd gen
i was wondering if just a holley on a 2nd gen is plenty of power
im running a tight budget and cant afford much now and i plan eventually plan to do a turbo engine but temporary thought about doing just a holley anyone have any comments

I've seen it done. you need a manifold. Gas mileage isn't better either. But it's cheap and relatively easy to tune. you need lat least a 600 CFM carb. More if you are ported. But you could also opt for a Demon Carb.

well it all depends how much power your looking for but hell yeah go for it and have some fun you wont regretit
I had a friend who swapped back and forth "twice" using a RB intake and holley 650 (and an edelbrock 650) vs the s4 efi. The edelbrock was way better than the holley, but the efi ran smoother and produced better fuel economy. Power difference was neglible (it had a header & exhaust), might have been better had the engine had some porting though. For the money, buy a wet 50 shot of nitrous instead and you'll be happier.
