Any vert owners interested in something like this? They would be reinforced to handle the load from the large RE-Amemiya wing if you ever choose to run a wing like that. These would also be good weight savings that every vert owner could use.

Details are not finalized yet. But from what I've been told we would need at least 5 with *prepaid deposits* of around $250. Rx-Heven and I have 3 of those deposits covered, so we would need 2 more to get the ball rolling.

Add your name to the list if you are interested. No deposits are needed at this point, not until final details are settled.

Once deposits are in, turn around time should be about a month.

So is the "prepaid deposit" the final price then? Would these be factory latching? What are we looking at weight wise (difference)?

 

Also interested in weight difference, is the stock one even that heavy? its so small.

The trunk lids will bolt to the factory hinges and use the factory latch to close.

Honestly, I don't know how much the weight difference will be. Won't really know until we have one made and toss it on a scale and compare it with a stock trunk lid. Anyone got a lid they can toss on a scale? Mines on my car in the shop right now.
