Any tips on removing and cleaning the 5th n 6th ports

how did u guys remove the screw that hold the port without stripping it? and any other tips that would help clean them? Any advise is greatly appreciated

You have to take the LIM (lower intake manifold) Off, if im not mistaken. to take them out. But why would you do that unless they are stuck? you should beable to move them by hand to make sure they arte turning., Mine are Wired OPEN. and dissconnected the part that turns them

they are completely stuck closed and the only way to move them a bit is with pliers. i got one of the screw of and the bolt how do i take out the actual port piece?

You have to take the Entire Lower Intake manifold off. to pull them out.

make sure you insert them the same way you took them out and use a wire brush for cleaning. using some engine oil in the aux ports help keep them moving smoothly. you might want to spray a lot of wd40/lube into the actuator. once you remove the aux ports youll notice how the air kind of gets trapped at the end of the insert. when i had my n/a i removed some metal to make it similar to the atkins aux port inserts.

i noticed how strong and responsive my 3.5k launch was after cleaning them. since your going to remove your uim/lim might as well clean the inside of it. 2o year old car has a bucket full of carbon

so i was trying to pull the slevee out the one closet to the firewall and it broke . The part that broke off was the little lever that connects to the sleeve fml :/ . i dont undertand it was super hard to pull out n it just snapped fml fml i even used lube and it still hard to pull our
