Thumbs up Very Nice 1FastT2!

Hey 1FastT2,
Where did you get that Throttle Body Inlet adapter. I WANT ONE for my FMIC install. Here is an old pic before I put everything back together:

The throttle body inlet is from a Greddy FMIC kit that I bought. Everything on the engine is all glass beaded to make it look new again and the engine I built myself with a big port job and a whole bunch of new stuff.

Arrow Cool

Can you get one of those Greddy adapters by itself? I would rather bolt a good one on there than try to make one. I have heard that it makes a pretty big difference in throttle response and top end.

von, my goal is a 225-230 hp n/a. Bridge port, lightened rotors, 3mm apex seals, ported everything, no emissions, no extras. No carpet, no stereo. Bigger injectors, fuel rail, and pump, 125 shot of good ol n2o. Etc, etc, etc. That is why I am looking for a cheap MX-5 or 240SX as a daily beater. I know, I am crazy and I will be hella broke, but hey, I love Ramenand rotors!!!!

Well, I'm just waiting for my Haltech to arrive. I'd have already had a Wolf 3D v4.0 in, but neither the SE dealer, Spin racing, nor the North American distributor felt that I deserved to get my system even two months after I paid for it. Even phone calls from Australia didn't get anything done. <sigh> The only thing in their favor is that the system didn't arrive stateside until December 31st, so I gues in a way I only had to wait a little over a month to get my money back.

Sorry for the rant guys. There's a LOT more I'd LIKE to say, but I doubt it would do much good.

NOTA944...U should rant. Someone will find it usefull. Remember thiers a couple hundred people that read these post.

Rico..U sound just like me. I was just looking for a miata today. My best friend has a 97 with intake and exaust. THier one of the funnest cars I ever drove. Real preppy as they say. The only downside is u get called gay alot so my friend is soon to buy a body kit. I saw a 91 for 2800 with 113,000 miles on it and ran perfect. I wanted one for comuting too but those greddy turbos are oh so nice.

Dash is going back in, figuring out the proportioning valve for the rear brakes, finishing hooking up the wiring in the interior.

My project daily driver

Whats up folks. I just got done pinning a spare engine. I have to Port the day lights out of it this weekend and assemble it.
The reason for the engine swap is my car is smoking so bad that I got a ticket for excessive smoking! lol. Last month I got pulled over for running over reflectors, and the month before that I got ticketed for improper exhaust! Whats next? probably speeding...
Hopefully I can turn the boost up a notch or 2 and get some real big numbers out of my car!

much much more...

oh, well remember mine's a stripped and gutted racecar. We pulled everything out when we installed the rollcage, and painted the interior. So now we've gotta put it back togther So the wiring bundle that goes back to the fuel pump, rear lights, and stuff is going back in. The dash I've gotta cut to fit around the rollcage.

My old TII engine is on the ground. The new bridge ported TII engine is in the mail.

I already have the Racing Beat light steel flywheel and the braided steel brake lines.

Some parts are out for polishing.

Two intercooler pipes are out to have the pop-off valve installed as well as to have the dual probe intercooler air temp gauge installed.

I did 376 rwhp before. I should do 400 at 16-17 psi.

Here's the new engine. I won't be using the little baby turbo setup that's in the photo.

Finished pulling my engine today and took LOTS of pics with the digital cam, will post them on my website Birmingham Rotaries in the next day or two. Bryan (FEARED7) is hooking me up with a street port motor, Hurley seals, 3" exhaust, etc. etc, blah blah blah. Hopefully within a month my TII will be on the road again!
