Any problems with Turbonetics?

Hey all, I've been thinking of getting a diff turbo for a while now and have found a good deal on a Turbonetics GTK-650... Only thing is a friend of mine heard something about turbonetics taking out 2 of his friends motors... just wondering if those were freak accidents or are these rotary killers? thx

The 650 is going to be small for a rotary unless you have it customized.
I have used several of them and I think that they are pretty good but a tick overpriced. A GT3582R might be a better fit at a less expensive price tag.

Cheers,
Don

They are junk. Have seen them stop spinning with very few miles on them. The GTK-650 has too small of a turbine housing for rotary use, would need to be swapped out.
