i put my pulsation dampener on to day and i took my old altanator off and i put a new one i had but its an s5 so i just re wired the plug and it works fine its just when i turn my car on the idiot cluster does not go off even when i drive it and i have very good amps do you think put the = and - backwords on the plug or am i going to ave to go find another s4 altanator

 

S5 alternators wire different than S5 alternators. You need to correct the wiring
