Any interest in a S4 diagnostic LED unit?

I'm pondering putting together a few S4 diagnostic LED bundles. They'll plug into the diagnostic plug in the front driver's side corner, and run along the side up to the windshield area. You tuck them under the wiper blade or such (that end is fairly stiff), and can see any error codes the ECU is throwing out. Additionally, you can see the O2 sensor status & confirm that it's flashing rapidly when you're supposed to be in closed loop mode.

The units are really just a bundle of wire, spade connectors, resistors, and LEDs. I'd be selling them for around $10 shipped, with directions on how to plug them in & use them.

Anyone interested?

I'll get some pictures up tomorrow (later today?). For reference, I'm trying to raise the funding needed to purchase some chips & a programmer to work on an ECU output monitor (injector/BAC duty cycle, state of various outputs, RPM, and an adjustable speedometer that can be calibrated for different tire sizes or just plain old error).

For around $10 shipped, I'd pick one up.

Also would be interested in the more full featured thing you're working on as well!

Hrm. Wrong size spade connectors.

I'm getting some more parts in next week (along with parts for some RPM switches). If all goes well, I'll have something ready to sell by early December.

Also, I'm looking at getting some circuit boards printed up for the DIY RPM switch. I'll need to run the numbers when I get the actual board laid out, but it looks like I might be able to do an assemble-it-yourself kit for around $25-$30, and a full assembled RPM switch in the $35-$40 range. Is this too close to "real" RPM switch costs for anyone to bother with them?

Another possibility I'm working on is multiple RPM switches on one board. Basically, a module with 2-3 RPM switches on it. The S5 guys could use this for VDI/aux ports, and the extra signal could be used for an A/C cutoff, or nitrous enable, or something like that.

Thoughts on other things you guys would like to see?
