Question Any experience with carbon or kevlar exhaust cannisters?

Just wondering if anybody has tried out a carbon or kevlar muffler? How do they stand up to the notorious thrashing rotaries give exhausts? I know Arospeed and Revolution both make carb. and kev. versions of a universal muffler. What piping has been used from the cat back, if you have one of these? What is the sound like without the silencer piece insert ie. too loud? I know the Apexi and HKS cat back piping includes some pre silencing measures, ie. these may be good if they mate up with the universal cannister to keep sound down and enable to run with the silencer insert out at all times..? Any other thoughts?
Thanks.

A local speed shop owner has one on his 3rd-gen. It looks pretty neat, and sounds pretty bad-***. If you've got the coin, I say go for it.
