When you do get one put a relay on the taillight circuit to keep the headlight switch from eventually melting.

 

don't get a turbo
learn to work on it yourself (unless there is a "Rotary" mecahnic in your area)
rice is bad
do a full tune up before you mod anything
read the faqs for FCs
keep up general mantaince and it'll last a long time

BTW, thanks for helping him out. I know nothing about all this fuel injected second gen stuff

 

Also watch for a leaking pulsation damper. Fuel smell, investigate. More than a couple have been oxidized because of it.

 

Be prepared to spens a lot of money
